Christopher has invested in more than 10 companies, including 2 publicly-listed companies. His previous and investment experience includes Shawya, Guitaitai (NEEQ: 834352), Juneyao Airlines (SSE: 603885) and Sinomachinery.

Prior to Welkin, Christopher worked at SAC Capital Advisors and the Mergers & Acquisitions group at Evercore Partners. He received a JD from the Chinese University of Hong Kong and dual bachelors’ degrees in finance and political science from the Wharton School and College of Arts & Sciences at the University of Pennsylvania.

Johnny co-founded Welkin in 2009 and has since served as Chief Executive Officer.

Prior to Welkin, Johnny served as executive director of his family's private investment office where he led direct investments in China. Before that, he worked in the Sponsors and Mergers & Acquisitions groups of Goldman, Sachs & Co. He received a BA in finance and systems science from the Jerome Fisher Program in Management and Technology at the Wharton School and School of Engineering of the University of Pennsylvania.

Johnny is a Hong Kong delegate of the Shanghai Committee of the Chinese People's Political Consultative Conference and All-China Youth Federation. He co-founded the Centum Charitas Foundation.

Justino co-founded Welkin in 2009.

Alex joined Welkin in 2016 and primarily focuses on consumer and technology sectors. His investment experience includes Shawya, Xinzailing, Tianxia, ALOG, Health-100 (SZE: 002044), Tony's Farm, Anho Cutting and Royal Biopharma. Prior to Welkin, Alex worked at CITIC Capital. Before that, he worked at Ping An Asset Management and Deloitte. He received a BA from the Shanghai Institute of International Business and Economics and a MBA from UCLA Anderson School of Management.

Cynthia joined Welkin in 2018 as an associate. Prior to Welkin, she was an associate at the Fosun's growth capital business. She received a master's degree in finance from Chinese University of Hong Kong and a bachelor's degree in economics from Fudan University.

Daisy joined Welkin in 2018 as an analyst. Her investment experience includes Htrip and Xinzailing. Prior to Welkin, she worked as intern at CITIC Capital and American Securities. She received a master’s and a bachelor’s degree in international accounting from Shanghai University of Finance and Economics.

He received a master’s degree in business administration from University of British Columbia and a double bachelor’s degree in science and management at Shanghai Jiaotong University.

Yun joined Welkin in 2017 and oversees legal and compliance matters for the firm.

Prior to Welkin, Yun was a senior associate at Vinson & Elkins with more than 9 years of private practice experience in private equity, inbound & outbound M&A, FDI and other corporate transactions. Yun received dual LLM degrees from New York University and National University of Singapore, and a LLB diploma from East China University of Political Science and Law.
